HAWAII
Casey Nonaka - Aloha- 8 years of pain and doctors telling me to
live with the pain, it's stress, fibromyalsia, etc. Finally when I
started to throw up in the morning I could not take it anymore so I
went back East to get the diagnosis I have know in my heart all
along. Had numerous Lymes test that came back negative, until I did
the CD-57 suggested by my sister nothing came back unusual. doctors
in Hawaii know nothing about Lymes they don't have it here, I got it
on a visit back home to Maryland. It's been a long hard road and the
healing process has not been easy either. I have been 2 months on
antibiotics and had the Herx reaction 2 weeks ago that was really
scary. I'm still trying to work part time but that is difficult with
the low energy level I have since I have been on the anti-biotics. I
have Epstein Barr also since my immune system was so tired. Very low
MSH and very high C4A which I am still waiting to find out what that
means. If it wasn't for my strong belief in God I would either be
dead or addicted to pain killers, my faith has taken me this far and
I look forward to feeling myself again, even though I can't remember
how that is after all these years. God bless anyone out there and
don't give up!!!

In
the interest of making the stories palatable for everyone, please
spell-check your submissions, and substitute a word like "antibiotic(s)"
or abx for drug names. This site is foremost about telling the story of our
disease and problems with diagnosis, treatment, etc.
Please refrain from listing every drug and/or dosage you have been
on. We have all been through a unique experience and that is the
focus of this page. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
