Jennifer St. Cyr
- Hello Everyone, I am writing for my girlfriend Jennifer who was diagnosed with Lyme 2 months ago. Jenn started complaining about a headache almost four years ago that just seemed to get worse over time and turned into a Migraine that was at times unbearable. It was the typical situation at first. She saw a boatload of uninformed doctors who did not know much about Lyme Disease and prescribed her opiates for the pain in which she got addicted to. They said it could be this or that (all the illnesses or other diseases it copies). She finally got referred to a specialist N.D. who said he was 99% sure it was Lyme and sent her blood work to California--that came back positive. She started taking antibiotics for a few weeks but it made her more sick. Now she is on herbs that she might stop taking because of a sensitivity with these particular herbs. She is currently feeling absolutely awful. There was a brief time when she thought the antibiotics were helping but they did not. She was told by her doctor that they can actually make it worse at this stage of the game, a very bad game. Jennifer is an amazing soul who many agree is the sweetest and most compassionate person they have ever met. There is A LOT more to this story. Peace to all, Davy

In the interest of making the stories palatable for everyone, please spell-check your submissions, and substitute a word like "antibiotic(s)" or abx for drug names. This site is foremost about telling the story of our disease and problems with diagnosis, treatment, etc. Please refrain from listing every drug and/or dosage you have been on. We have all been through a unique experience and that is the focus of this page. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
