WYOMING
Robin Berry - I have had this
disease for most of my life. Although I am a positive test even by
Mayo Clinic standards, I cannot find a doctor in Wyoming. I had been
traveling to Texas, but now my NP has been 'kicked' out of the state
by a nervous AMA. The AMA has become a danger to me since no other
doctors I have contacted will even 'try' to treat a Lyme patient.
Sad state of affairs. I was a very energetic articulate, intelligent
person once. Lyme is slowly taking away my spelling, my speech, my
sleep, and giving me joint pain, fatigue, moodiness, chronic
depression... lovely stuff.

In
the interest of making the stories palatable for everyone, please
spell-check your submissions, and substitute a word like "antibiotic(s)"
or abx for drug names. This site is foremost about telling the story of our
disease and problems with diagnosis, treatment, etc.
Please refrain from listing every drug and/or dosage you have been
on. We have all been through a unique experience and that is the
focus of this page. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
NOTE: If you ask
for help when writing, please provide your email address so
that we can respond! |
